they were heady days WC.
1980s. house cost 40k then worth 70k then 130k now ?.

interest rates spiked with the property bubble. developers rowed boat out too deep and went under.

safe as houses meant something to me.

my parents had a war service loan and spent lives to pay it off. means something to me.

now fast money and cheaper to rent than have a mortgage.

but also saw friends sell their homes to play the market and not good.

remember the rocks in sydney? cheap as chips once.

yes give me property every time. happy to hold property every time.
