they have come up to a number of "shortage of 85 000 dwellings" in Australia by "counting homeless" AND by calculating how many dwellings do we have to build in Australia in order to "ACHIEVE 3% VACANCY" in a rental market, which is considered comfortable buffer in the industry and adding it to homeless number !
only suprise here is that they openly admitted it so quickly (which just goes to show how little they care about our opinion) !
my vote goes to whoever heavily regulates Real Estate Industry !!!
