I don't understand the market for the new suburbs being built south of Perth. Why would you move that far from the CBD to live on a tiny block, shoulder to shoulder with your neighbor? Surely the appeal of being 20-30km out of the city is that you can have a bit of land.
I'd understand it if the prices were dirt cheap, but for the price of a house & land in one of these future slums you could get an established house much closer to the city.
