Savers are just investors with a low risk tolerance. There is nothing wrong with this.
However it has been proven that investing in assets will provide a better longterm return. This is not really disputable.
As for someone that scrapes together a deposit and buys their home that has provided countless jobs in the planning, marketing, construction and sale of said property. They are the same, they just have a higher risk tolerance than the saver. I see no need to demonise them and call them greedy for working hard to save the deposit and wanting to own their own home.
