Well the way it has played out is that savers get nothing, borrowers have been subsidised for over a decade, money borrowed for housing is being priced as if there is no risk, the national debt is blowing out, money printing has started. So as far as being 'correct' is concerned, all of this is happening and it is very concerning. It seems we have abandoned capitalsim as 'too hard' & are going with a model run under the heavy hand of the central banks who are actively 'picking winners': those with assets over those with none, rich over poor, borrowers over savers.

So rather than fight the tide, I'll swim with it, applying prudent levels of leverage.

The tide might be carrying you far out to sea. Whereas with a bit of effort you could fight your way back to shore and safety.

haha, I love the arrogance in this post. Ok Crom, you obviously are much wiser than me so I will follow your approach and put my money in the bank and watch it go backwards...

I'll be just fine mate, in fact if there is a major correction we will end up even further ahead over the long term than we are now.

Even over 30 years cash is a losing investment. Perhaps the shore is not as safe as you think. Or put another way, perhaps the sea is not as dangerous as you think.
