It the prices of all the goods we import (cars, trucks, mining/construction machinery, submarines, fighter planes, petrol, diesel fuel, passenger aircraft, tools, lawn mowers, white goods, Rolex watches etc etc) that we import into Australia from overseas rise, Australian inflation will rise.
No nation is an island when inflation kicks off.
