I just had a look at the house prices of Muckinbudin and he can pick up a 3x1 for $59k but there’s a few more under a $100k and some nicer ones around the $135-155k mark.
I can check up on the drive time to Midland or Perth but at a guess it would be 90minutes 120 minutes respectively.

Okay, it isn’t Sydney but even a couple on the dole with 2-3 kids could pay off the mortgage
