I will let you in a little secret. Most OS students effectively pay less than local students. Even those in a cwealth supported placement.
The unis here are like the rest of the country - they will let you do anything for a dollar.
Granted, initial tuition fee is high. But they give it straight back in stipends (which they will call a "scholarship" haha) or they will comp you meals/accom if you reside in of their student villages.
Very cheap to study here. But it ought to be since quality of education is quiet poor compared to other English speaking nations
