Same here, 13km from Melbourne....bumped up rent by $20 per week.
Really is an a amazing asset class, income goes up with inflation at minimum....and if you buy in blue chip high demand areas, lack of supply means much higher rent.
Interesting year ahead, some areas in metro Melbourne expecting +20% growth in good quality stock.
Banks still haven’t adjusted for APRA’s newly relaxed lending benchmarks...they soon will do so, meaning much more demand.
