    Energy powers rise in dollar

    The Canadian dollar went on another tear yesterday, breaking the 86-cent (U.S.) mark and leading several strategists to forecast it has further to fly.

    The dollar hit its highest level since January, 1992, a level Finance Minister Ralph Goodale said yesterday poses a "significant challenge" for the Canadian economy, after the release of U.S. and Canadian economic reports.
