why do you think it's difficult to negotiate, it's all an internal excercise, and why would current holders lose out when we all receive shares in the new demerged companies corresponding to shares held in ltr? if you own 01% of ltr you own the same in the new companies whether the value is $1m or $100m. A better value wont become evident until the market attributes it. Initially, it is whatever value the mgt will decide to start with.
