I've been reading both these threads (TLS and TPM) and the overall consensus is TPM is going to fail because they have made a massive investment building a 4G mobile network, yet 5G is around the corner so their network will be made redundant.
Can an expert please elaborate on this? Surely TPG can't be that stupid. Is their mobile network they are building potentially usable for 5G too? How 'far ahead of the game' is TLS in terms of 5G investment than TPG? I feel 5G is the future for telcos, and so this answer is critical to know which company will come out ahead.
The threads have also been talking about how TPM is leveraged to the moon and will need to do even more capital raising to support their mobile network. Well, just on the topic of debt isn't TLS currently more leveraged than TPM? From Simply Wall St, TLS debt to net worth is 122.8% but for TPM it's only 56.1%..
