From 2020 onwards, from everything I'm hearing, 5G is going to revolutionise telco, think home appliances talking to each other, drones, driverless cars internet connected. Big data is the future. I'd be putting my money towards a telco who is taking 5G seriously.. seems TLS is more ahead of the game here but I need to do further research. Sure, TLS also has it's challenges (cost cutting, less lean structure etc)
