i've been following the various telco forums
i believe telstra are about to get a big bump in customers..
2 year optus iphone contracts are up, and everyone is leaving for T.
their adsl/cable plans dropped massively in price
their mobile prices have also dropped a huge amount
optus/3/vodaphone seem to all have hit the capacity of their networks simultaneously (and offering unlimited ipad plans is not going to help this).
they'll deffo get a bump in customer numbers but will be taking a hit in margin.
this could just be positioning for the nbn.. who knows
