    Ford Australia today confirmed the exact closing date of its Victorian assembly line and engine plant — October 7, 2016.


    the impact on the steel industry will be the loss of approx. 8-10% of tonnage requirments ......

    there is a high strength steel plant, just near Laverton ......it also has propriority coatings for auto industry
