We flew into launceston hired car $1000 for 2 weeks. Drove clockwise and visited as much as possible.
Visit Zeehan in far west for few hours.
Stay at cradle mountain resort.... Not imatators but the resort on the national park. The one that makes all the cradle mountain photos... worth the cost. Have the buffet breakfast sets you up for the whole day.
I looked up travel holidays on the bus and filled my travels with some of the same....
Foodies love the place.... great produce.
Also the state govt have a holiday card that is prepaid for plenty of attractions... got my money worth after a few days.
