WellCon is correct, by my memory.

When they re-entered, they were originally going to drill a sidetrack to avoid formation damage, but were still planning a vertical production section. But DH advised just drilling ahead with the original hole and using that as an exploration hole.

So that's what they did, they drilled all the way through the HVS to the upper Pacoota.

They then pulled back and put the lateral into the Stairway as a production well.

That was DH's major contribution - getting past the dinosaur mentality of JH and the original CTP staff and bringing in some fresh thinking from North America.
