The one thing for sure is that had ALDI not entered the Australian market Coles and Woolies would have continued to control the market and prices.
An ACCC report a little while back ,after they investigated the industry reported that suppliers preferred to deal with Aldi and also received payment from them quicker than the other two majors.
We do about 80-90 percent of our shopping at Aldi and for just the two of us we believe we save at least $50-$60 dollars a week.
Aldi employ Australians and have more Aussie manufactured products than the other two.
Their chocolate is way superior to the Cadbury brand in our opinion.
