I am aware Iraq, Libya and Syria operates society wise a very liberal lifestyle relative to US allies such as Saudis and the region. ISIS is either a by product of US meddling in ME or the natural mutant strain of all those religious extremism. It does not matter if the chicken or egg, the result was 2 decades of terrorism, suicide bombing, Iraq/Afghan implosion into sectarian violence keeping the security apparatus busy for a very long time. Just when we thought all these terrorism subsided, out pops a new conflict brewing for 8 years.
There is no end in ME, a military industrial complex puppet that US can actually tackle directly head on. Ukraine and Taiwan is a totally different scenarios because the enemy is a peer not the David & Goliath mis match. I don't know what will happen but usually a proxy against the occupying superpower.
