AMP has many in-house, salaried planners. All of the new 'goals 360' stuff they have rolled out are AMP salaried positions.
They do provide licensee services as you said, however, they are remunerated as a percentage of whatever the adviser makes. The more those advisers charge, the better for them.
You are right about a lot of stuff there though. No money in corp super anymore really (unless you're the underlying fund manager but those funds attributed to AMP Capital) and product fees will continue to reduce across the board.
