Licensees have started to increase fees in the last few months. This trend will continue in order to fix the problem you raise. Cross subsidization has been the foundation of the industry. In this case product subsidized the licensee fees, in the end the client pays one way or another. It is a case of how they are billed.
I believe AMP fees will have been at the lower end. Less product aligned licensees can charge substantially more.
