Astral, I agree. That could possibly occur for 2 reasons: 1) The low $AUD and going lower medium term as interest rates head towards the great black hole where not even debt can escape, and 2) larger institutions can pick AMP apart and divest its less attractive divisions. Right now, AMP is slashing around with a few gaping / bleeding sores and the sharks, even if a long way off, will eventually pick up the scent.
