That was my concern too. Of the 750k sqm mapped one would assume that they would have covered the populated areas first where there is more demand too. It all depends on how they attribute what is existing vs new. It could be calculated in a number of ways and each has a very different outcome for royalties too.
- % of area captured with SFI vs existing capture.
- New clients on boarded since X date.
- Search area used by customers (existing 750k sqm vs new SFI mapped).
Given the lack of information on the deal and it's in EV's interest to pay as little to SFI as possible via the revenue threshold royalties i'm skeptical it's going to be as favourable as the first post indicates
