I based my figures latest figures I can get. The population of Victoria being 6.681 Million (2020 figure)and the vaccination data from the vic.gov.au website today. Do the maths. All Victorians over the age of 12 can get the vaccine so if I correct for this figure the eligible population is 5.746 million although kids under 12 can get the virus, but not seriously.
Then fully vaccinated is 21% and 1jab is 42%. It is not clear where the government gets its 51% figure from. The ABS might have helped them or they could just be plain wrong.
