They would like to buy it. UBS have been mandated the sale process and I guess it will go to competitive tender. Funding should be some sort of Hybrid plus some debt, so as not to dilute the existing shareholders any further. That's why I hope that the shorts get squeezed. If you do some sort of pref share and debt, the shorts are stuffed because they wont be able to replace the stock they have sold. Wishful thinking but it would be nice.
