I see great purpose in gold leasing when - it enables the acquisition of liquidity from a source of limited connection to the market place.
Empirical evidence? why would the lease rate be intrinsically linked to LIBOR? Seems fundamental to me.
Back to my original premise - "gold leasing is IMO really important to the banking sector"
