In the interests of truth and transparency... it would be nice if Greenpeace had actually released the report. I suspect that well-pads have been confused with wells which is an order of magnitude error.

But let us assume that apples are being compared with apples. Then the argument is that a cumulative 155 wells by 2025 is ridiculously inconsistent with a cumulative 4000 wells by 2032 just seven years later.

However, consider Pennsylvania.

Cumulative shale wells by 2007 = 150,

Cumulative shale wells seven years later = 8800
