Think stefoids point seem pretty valid. Has had that pattern and not bad advice if you are "trading". Maybe annoys people who "invest" and hate to see any retrace and feel posting about it is somehow self-fulfilling.

Equally, traders who want to benefit from its recurrence want to exacerbate the swings by both their trading action effect and real or imagined comment impact because it is in their interests that the pattern be as pronounced as possible and repeated forever.

But it is hard to deny that the drill results are really the meat and potatoes and the gold price a lesser impact - at least until the resources are proven.

Takeovers might pop up at any junction, but you would think an aquirerer really wants a proven resource too, for which they will happily pay the necessary premium.

There may come a pre-proven stage when someone decides to take the take-over plunge because gold resources aren't that common in this readily accessible form (and the gold price is going up) but they surely prefer a proven mineral supply, to ownership of a speculation that the inferences and indications will necessarily prove up. They can afford to wait and see - if someone else offers in the meantime they can counter-offer.

That's not to say it can't be the next ann about 2007 assays which will be the tipping point for an interested party - or to send the sp seriously north anyway.

At which point traders may be locked out until the next pause which Siameseparrot points out might be a fair chunk of money. But this shouldn't cause traders too much grief they make a quid trading in the gaps.

CQT is going to make everyone happy...
