Good point...consider the following:

1. 'Somehow', RRS acquired Conoco's seismic data (US$150m worth)....& AOI have used this info to pinpoint optimal drill targets.
2. Conoco are on the record as 'not interested in returning to Somalia' and in their 2003 Annual Report, wrote off their Somalian acreages - any flipback by them on this position would not hold up well in a legal contest.
3. A new constitution and petroleum law are expected to be in place soon which should finally make the legal position indisputably clear regarding previous and current concession holders.
4. There is much mystery behind who is in Consort.
