I lost around 80% of my assets in both portfolios during the GFC (Over a period of around 1.5 years). Almost a wipe out. I was pretty depressed after quitting my job at the peak of the market to be a full time trader. Timimg is everything! lol.
One portfolio is now back to evens + ~15% pre tax, other is back to evens + ~70% pre tax.
