Its interesting to re-interpret the last two Phylogica Operational Updates using the strategic framework outlined by BioExec.

We know that Phylogica have indeed signed a number of MTA's and foreshadowed future material transfer agreements. The following statement from the September 30 update is particularly encouraging;

"Externally, interest is increasing with further discussions and collaborations underway regarding assessment of the FPP delivery platform for use with proprietary cargoes of potential partners in various disease areas."

If we zero in on BioExec's suggested strategy, a single FPP which is proven as safe and effective could potentially be used over and over again - with different cargoes in various disease models.

I don't know if its analogous but CRM197 which originated from a toxin, is used as a delivery system in a number of conjugate vaccines including the pneumococcal vaccine developed by Pfizer and most recently by Imugene in its immunotherapy cancer vaccine in Phase 1b.

One phylomer FPP could potentially be licensed multiple times;
"This way they could license a single CPP out over and over again, for various cargos, and have these efforts run parallel to their own internal work," refer BioExec post. It would be a very valuable FPP.
