I would say Anning has got zero chance of being re elected. If I was in QLD I wouldn't vote for him. He's a numpty. His views are repulsive to me. But he has the right to express them without threats, same as every other person especially our parliamentarians. Start restricting them and we the punters have got no chance.
The voters will decide on election day, not some mob whipped up into a frenzy.

If the voting system was changed to fully optional preferential, giving each voter the power to stop numbering the boxes whenever they chose to, then all these grubby preference deals would be redundant overnight. And it would stop Senators getting elected on such minuscule primary votes.
