You have an obsession with the "19 votes". Consider the Wentworth bi-election results. Primaries: Sharma 43% Phelps 29.3% more people voted for Sharma but it was the preferences that gave it to Phelps.....no doubt you liked the system that gave Phelps the victory but you don't like the system that gave Anning his place in the senate. You can't have it both ways.
