Jesus didn't think so either! He promised there is to be a resurrection to a cleansed earth that will begin after false religion, greedy commercialism, political fanaticism and Satan who is the instigator of these things is removed.

JOHN 5:28, Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice+ 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

Jesus even demonstrated his ability to do so.

John 11:23 Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” 24 Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection+ on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life.+ The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; 26 and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all.
