Do you really think it would be any better had Labor been able to mount any sort of credible alternative at the last election.
I mean all these jobs would still be under threat but instead of IR reform that allow business to sack and re-hire under lower terms, we would just have business threatening to sack people because they couldn't afford to employ people under the onerous new IR laws driven through by a union dominated Labor party.
