I dunno about you, but I don't give a crap about 40% female, or 40% male, I care about 100% merit.
What if a staff member drops out & they can only find a good male to fulfill the role with awesome merit for it, but instead it has to be a woman & they can't find any woman with any real experience. The man with merit will miss out & the woman with no experience is gong to get that job. Is everyone happy with that?
