I don't think it's an issue about a creator, as I don't believe that evidence of a creator exists, especially one that cares for us. If a creator exists, he may as well not be there because, although (supposedly) having the power to help, he does nothing.
We are not promised a healthy wealthy and fortuitous life. But be thankful if one does receive such grace, being born or living in Australia is already somewhat of a lottery win so to speak.
Why do some of us receive the grace of a "healthy wealthy and fortuitous life" while others starve and die prematurely and painfully from a premature death? I agree that life is to a large extent a lottery - this supports the idea that there is no evidence that it is received or denied by an omnipotent God who loves us all.
I suggest that if I am wrong the chance element of a lottery would not play a part.
