I haven't heard of something synthetic being better than something natural (Cannabis is a naturally grown herb).... Other than synthetic might possibly be more sustainable.

If a patient is offered medical cannabis to help relieve pain (which also is found to produce notable improvements in pain, quality of sleep, and to reduce disease activity) or we have a synthetic cannabinoid which will relieve pain but you could gain weight, lose hair or potentially even kidney damage. What would you pick?

Paleo, organic etc etc is going off its head and it is the way of the future.
