Nope they aren't but it wouldn't surprise me to find there is more dodgy lending amoungst our banks than what has been let on. If you were a bank in times of a property boom, you would be signing up everyone who turns up on your doorstep.

I wouldn't call lending someone 100% of teh value of their house moral.... and then lending them money for a couple of cars and the plasma tely. Hang on, the first home buyers grant was for the tely...
