The time of being a valued customer at a bank is well and truely passed
But most of the time I am more concerned about my relationship with my ISP company than the bank
A friend who was in business a few years ago though had a similar experience to this. He had loans well in excess of $1mil and was treated like a valued customer by one of the big 4 banks
Paid his loans down to about 1/2mil and no one wanted to know him.
A short time latter though his business failed due to other reasons and the creditor who was owed the most and lost the most was the same bank.
