I stick with 10 hard rules, minimizing capital risk is one of the key rules and one way to do this is to buy in gradually using stop/loss to sell.
Around 11am for FMG I had 10k total capital. Instead dropping in entire 10k on the go I bought in gradually 2k at a time. End of day I had bought and sold FMG twice for a little over 20k, moving 10% stop/loss up with the price which automatically sells me out.
Yes, pay more in brokerage but very small price to pay for reduced capital risk.
