If it wasn't for 239 souls, it would be amusing that the Russians can detect, at 4km high, an American drone, take over control of its electronic guidance system and land it intact at their convenience - but a friggin' 350 tonne plane can disappear completely for at least four hours!
Shoulda got the Russkies onto MH370 immediately. They'd not only have found it, but taken control and landed it remotely.
