instead of wasting 50 billion on something we dont need why dont we spend a portion of that on water containment and storage.
why can a country like Libya turn their deserts into lush farming areas through the GMRP and we the "smart country" throw our money away on useless projects ?

one of our most useful irrigation systems the MIA is going to be shut down by Gillard and Brown. instead of updating and enclosing the channels they want disband the Murray - Darling irrigation system.
