If you're broker is Comsec, you can sell your issuer holding without transfer - on the sell page instead of selecting Chess holding, select the issuer holding option and simply type in your issuer holding number as found from your statement.
Then simply type in the amount (presumably the lot) you want to sell and your selling price. Comsec will do the rest - they will check with Computershare and upon confirmation, normal sale process will follow.
You name and address details from your issuer statement has to match your Comsec account details. I didn't need to transfer - sale went through (there were buyers at my nominated price) smoothly.
