The land we live in is in unchartered territory. I recently watched an older person make a comment re: how the govt is so concerned about its citizens and their health and as he spoke, he essentially said that he doubted whether any govt official will be at his funeral should he pass. He sounded worried about his ruined health, sounded pretty right, as one may ponder how many rights have been taken away from someone to come to such a conclusion??

Perhaps the govt. of his country will be interested after his passing - so much so, that they may come and emphatise with his remainder family members as they request some possible death duties or some other form of taxes that have been imposed and since possibly unpaid, came to collect - of course they're very, very sorry (perhaps very sorry for not imposing more impositions or at higher levels prior).

One has heard the term 'trust me, I'm a politician'. A former director in A40 was trusted, and whilst not a politician, he with his presentations came across as an enthusiastic knowledgeable person, running a company with company success and shareholders in mind. Terms brandished around such as 'creating shareholder value'. The question beckons - which shareholders and which company's success?? In hindsight that person appears to have been instrumental in lining the pockets of some - sad to say it came at my and many other holders' expense. In any fund recovery processes in failed listed companies, lenders and other secured creditors are first and foremost - whilst in the pecking order, shareholders simply have to wait - sometimes for years, just so as to declare a capital loss.

Midas is a new company arisen from the history of darkness of a past failed company. A new name, a new venture, some new onboard investors and even directors but some banter remains the same - 'creating shareholder value'. Buyer beware indeed, knowing that the best views are offered from the top of a pyramid with those there offering their schemes and that your rights, should you choose to participate, are very limited in the event the pyramid turns pear shaped. Of course that's also true with other listed entities.

Maybe one should pip trade the heck out of this - but perhaps doing so with some other more established well run companies may offer better opportunities. AIMHO
