how did life first start on earth, page-14

It doesnt even have to be a seeding/cloning on purpose but as a result of contamination from bacteria or other that is secreted somewhere unknown on the Rover...

Given the extreme environments that we find life thriving in on earth and the known fact that bacteria can survive a journey into space and return to earth, it is just as possible that a "Mars Rover" like visitation to earth in our deep past gave rise to life on earth...

It could also be that basic life forms are always falling out of the sky from space, or even that some particular areas of space that the earth has passed through at some time/times in the past contains the necessary elements in a suitable combination for life that only needs the right conditions for the propagation of more complex life...

The possibilities are endless and could be multifactorial and just as likely will never be resolved except in much the same fairy-tale style as the AGW hoax is "settled science"...
