One day it might dawn on you that the folks here you are calling lefties are just righties looking for good, rational governance. A governance, which is currently corrupt and devoid of meaningful leadership.
Mate, it's been like a virus which I've watched grow since the 1960s. In this country, the ABC as well as certain unions such as Teacher's unions have been continuously working on politico-social change with ever more radical objectives. Having conservative- leaning governments is no longer enough to derail the extremist elements in society. People have to wake up and get involved in all kinds of community groups, political parties and such like to ensure sensible voices are heard. Otherwise the only ideology which will be acknowledged is the extreme left and fringe groups.
