Had someones car crash onto a post with
rainwater downpipe.
Post holder bent
So went to Bunnings to get plumbing bits
to repair damage.
Wifey and I wandering along having a stroll
Was a lot warmer having a walk inside than the cold/rain 7-8C outside
OK got to come to point.
Lot of city people down at moment school holidays.
Saw a bloke pick up one hand and put in trolley
$14 bag of firewood.
If he had gone the other way, could have put 100kg of good
acacia in boot for nothing
But council people (we live in climate emergency or catastrophe shire)
have said picking up wood deprives lizards and worms of a home.
Have plenty of worms in back yard.
My parents had no electric or gas heat.
They, neighbours and everyone picked wood from the side of road.
For thousands of years aboriginals did the same.
How come the worms are still here
Or are the council suits full of tish.
