The 200 billion (and some of the 17 billion) are balanced out by absorption in the CO2 cycle. So most of the increase is due to fossil fuel combustion.
Also astounds me that 1% of the atmosphere can keep the earth's temp 30 degrees higher than it would be without them. How does such a small amount make such a big difference?
