I think they have just had trouble trying to commercialise the technology and break into new markets. I would think that with the $2m Federal Grant, the verification by the American Bureau of Shipping, the repeat work at Darwin marina, the establishment of operations for the navy etc, all go to show that the technology is sound.
Like I said, I just think they may have just had difficulty trying to get into new markets and possibly 'prove' the value of the technology?
But now with a new CEO and new director who KNOW the industry and are involved with it, I would think that nms would be in a much better position than they were before when they had other directors who possibly didn't have the contacts and grasping of the industry like the new ones do.
